The renowned Basque ethnologist José Miguel Barandiaran found a small stool in one of his investigations. Later he did it to replicate the uncle-grandfather of Jean Louis Iratzoki, who in turn passed it on to the designer’s father. The last reincarnation of the object has been baptized as Hiruki.

The Kuskoa collection is inspired by the shapes of the first plastic seats designed by Robin Day. Although in this case it is a chair entirely made of wood that provides warmth, comfort and resistance. The casing, upholstered in front or completely in wood, sits on a solid oak trestle with all delicacy.
